About Me
Welcome!
I started my life growing up on a small farm in upstate NY (as in Canada was within walking distance upstate NY) where I first gained my love for tinkering on anything and everything that could be tinkered with. From four-wheelers to tractors, I would try to understand how everything worked. It was from this desire to understand the inner workings of my environment that I began drawing the things around me, and started drawing the things I felt should exist.
When we got our first computer (yes, even that far up we eventually entered the 21st century) I discovered a whole new thing to tinker with. Even better, I discovered MS paint, and suddenly a whole new world of opportunities had opened up for me.
I graduated college Magna Cum Laude majoring in Fine Arts with a focus in Digital Art, along with a minor in Computer Science. I have since worked in many different roles, but most recently as a graphic designer in email marketing, and as a website coder before that. I maintain a thirst for knowledge about how things tick, and am currently enrolled with the Interaction Design Foundation, taking courses following the UX Design track.
Take a look at my galleries for examples of my work and check out my resume for a break down of my professional career so far. Feel free to contact me at the information at the bottom of the page or via my contact page.
I still love tinkering for real, so enjoy a clip of my project car, a 2011 WRX named Frankenstein, getting tuned by Matt Miner at Wicked Matt Transcendant Tuning:
